We've materially cut our costs by doing this. One of the unexpected things we encountered was the reluctance to change within the organization. In our business the average age is 26 yet many of the team wanted to stick to their fixed computing approach. As well the cost saving, the advantage now we've secured adoption, is the growth of collaborative working practices. All good lessons for start ups.
